CWS's PPF combines the durability & protection of TPU Paint Protection Film with the beauty of color change wraps, giving you the best of both worlds!
Finish/Texture: Matte with Self-Healing and cap* for shipping/storing protection.
Application Method: DRY install. The glue has air-egress channels for bubble free installation.
Features: Self-healing, Anti-contamination, Anti-Yellowing TPU vinyl film. Self-healing abilities ensuring your finish looks beautiful 2x longer than other wraps. Surface scratches dissapear from the heat of the sun. Stands-up against contaminants better than regular car wraps & will not yellow over-time.
Paint-Safe Adhesive: Pressure Sensitive, Bubble Free (air egress channels) surface-safe, removable adhesive that won't eat through or dissolve top-coats on your car’s paint.

Installation tips
1. Clay bar: Until now, clay bars have not been necessary for car wraps, but with the dramatic increase in finish clarity, small specs and surface contaminants are increasingly have a chance to show through the vinyl wrap. Although still not necessary for the integrity of the wrap, using a clay bar is highly suggested for added surface clearance and perfection.
2. Cap: The Clear Cap is a protective layer for automotive wraps that keeps them safe from dust, dirt, and scratches during shipping and storage. However, it is extremely important to remove the clear cap when applying the vinyl. The cap does not stretch and applying heat with the clear cap on may damage the finish.
3. Dry Application: The CWS Matte PPF vinyl installs the same way as regular color-change vehicle vinyl wraps. Does not need slip solution. Install the same way like regular car wraps.
4. Pre-cutting for kits: This vinyl film is designed to be installed the same as color change vinyl wraps. The Matte version being dry apply makes it behave the same way as color change vinyl wraps and will not slide on the target surface, making it near impossible to use pre-cut template pieces. The Gloss versions are wet apply, so that could be used as such, but not recommended.
